From Muskogee, Ok and the Bare Bones Film Fest, April 27th, 2008 - It was a great trip full of red carpet treatment from the organizers, great food, and lots of laughs and memories. And success! "Clay" took 3 awards for the night - Ron Bonk was the "Indie Auteur of 2008" (aka "Best Filmmaker"), Wes Reid won for "Best Actor '08" and "Clay" placed 2nd overall in the "Horror/Sci-Fi/Fantasy Film category" for '08. Film Threat gave "Clay" an amazing review last week, saying "The film’s bravura editing and intelligent camera work helps to build a sense of gnawing dread that becomes so overwhelming that the inevitable descent into violence almost seems cathartic." "Clay" accepted to third Film Festival |

Though we haven't heard from the fest direct, and there isn't much on their website, it looks like we've been accepted to the First Take Film Festival in Augusta, Ga. We found out by looking at their schedule on their website, which shows "Clay" playing Sunday, April 13th in the early am (the fest actually started today, their notify date was last Friday, but we didn't hear from them nor realize the fest was so close).
