CLAY is the latest directorial effort from prolific independent movie producer Ron Bonk. Ron has directed a few other movies in the horror genre, including THE VICIOUS SWEET (a fan gone ballistic tale) and STRAWBERRY ESTATES (a reality-TV style haunted house epic). This time, Ron tackles the serial killer, knife-kill genre and does so in a strikingly original and clever way.

Watch out, though, CLAY is a very oppressive, definitely a "downer" of a tale where most of the characters are very creepy with a lot of emotional baggage. You definitely feel the tone of anticipated, antiseptic dread as the movie unfolds, kind of like a very twisted, surreal version of ORDINARY PEOPLE, perhaps directed by David Lynch...
