"Father and son weirdos -- very creepy and very real -- and a truckload of psychological suspense, well written, well acted and well directed. “Clay” is the best low budget movie I’ve seen in years and years!"

- John Russo, screenwriter of the original “Night of the Living Dead” and director of numerous horror movies and author of numerous horror novels.

Admin note:  Anyone who knows Joan and reads her reviews here in Syracuse knows that she is a notoriously tough critic - especially when it comes to horror movies.  This may be her best review of a horror movie in years, if not ever!  Her only complaint was length, and in a follow up phone call, she thanked me for making a horror movie with a good story and said she was going to watch it again - the highest of compliments!

"Clay" gets first rave review

"Clay is a very well produced and beautifully visualized psychological horror movie. The film tells a story of “father, the creator” who has raised a blasphemous son. But, the son too is a creator, a sculptor whose clay works reference another process by which life is made...the Garden of Eden will never be the same! Bonk’s editing keeps the film moving at a nice, but not too fast pace allowing for the psychology of the story’s themes to take hold." - Owen Shapiro
