SUB DISTRIBUTION

SRS is now producing more and more in-house productions, and acquiring less outside titles for full distribution rights, but we are still trying to support the indie filmmakers out there.  So we now are offering more and more sub-distribution options.  If you have a fully authored DVD (DVD from glass master preferred, we do have some options tho for DVD-R) all packaged and ready to go, we will list it with out distributors and buy copies from you wholesale.  We already offer something like this with our Netflix deal.  If you are interested in keeping all the rights to your movie, and can handle the expense of self-distribution, AND then having access to many of our buyers, then drop us a line ( This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it or call 315-652-3868) for more details.

DVD distribution - our contacts include nearly every major rental and retail store in the U.S.A., including Blockbuster, Hollywood, Best Buy, Movie Gallery, Fry's Electronics, Borders, Newbury Comics, Virgin Record Stores, Amazon.com, Netflix, AEC One Stops, Waxworks, Flash and many more. Please note tho, not every movie we release gets in every outlet.  Ultimately the outlets decide on which titles they will carry and we can't force them to handle a title.  With the shrinking DVD market, it is getting harder and harder to get ultra low budget titles into many of the biggest outlets.  

Foreign rights sales - we can sell rights to your movies to Japan, Germany, UK, France, Spain, Mexico, Thailand, Malaysia, Russia, Austria, Sweden, Switzerland and others.

Our options include: Domestic TV (all typed), Video on Demand, IPTV, cellular phone supplier, and much, much more.

FULL DISTRIBUTION

SRS is now rarely picking up outside productions for full distribution - instead we are focusing on producing and distributing our own work.  On the off chance we do, we will offer one of two things:  A flat lifetime buyout or a 50/50% split of net.  If you are interested in full distribution from SRS, please email us.  Generally, if we buy a title out, we pay between $500-$2000 per title - this depends on what rights we get (ie limited time or lifetime/copyright), production values, star value, as well as how much distribution potential we see in the movie.  Unfortunately, it's a very tough market for the ultra low budget movies we are known for.  We can make pretty much make anything we need - as well as something capitalizing on a current hot box office trend (ie it will sell better for us out the gate - designed with the right title, artwork and synopsis to make our buyers snap it up regardless of lack of star power and budget) - for less than $3000.  Sometimes we can even do it for a few hundred dollars!

Occasionally, but it will be rare, we may still do the 50/50 split of net.  But we will be leaning more and more away from this option - it's just not paying off in this rough DVD market.

We accept motion pictures of all genres, lengths over 65 mins, fiction and non-fiction, shot on any format.

Give us 1-2 weeks to screen it, depending on how busy we are here at the time you submit.
