SRS is now authoring DVD’s. Our rate is JUST $150 an hour. Most projects - a 90 min movie with a couple extras, basic menus - can be done in just 2 hours.
Format masters accepted:
-Betacam SP
-HDV
-Mini DV
-Digital 8
-Hi 8mm
-SVHS
-VHS
-DVD

Movie is outputted to a DVD+R (about 100 mins of material) or Dual Layer DVD+R (up to 180 mins of material) depending on length of movie and # of extras you put on it. If your project is long enough that it requires a Dual Layer disc, then make sure your replicator can replicate from Dual Later DVD+R’s. If they can’t, we can recommend someone who does and they have the best rates we have found.
As mentioned above, our Authoring Rate is $150 an hour. We charge for only actual time we work on the DVD, there is no charge for capture or encoding time as part of a DVD authoring project. To get a more specific quote, please email
