Welcome to The Scare-A-Con Film Festival

The Scare-A-Con Film Fest is the longest running film festival for independent movies in Central New York!  The Fest was founded in 1999 by Ron Bonk as “The B-Movie Film Festival”. Its name was changed to “The Syracuse International Horror, Science-Fiction & Fantasy Film Festival” in 2010 and finally to “Scare-A-Con” in 2013. In 2014 the Fest will be fully integrated with Scare-A-Con, so watch for updates that take you directly to that site soon…

Our current call for entries is active, see below to enter, and the next fest is set for Sept 12th-15th, 2013, at the Turning Stone Casino in Onieda, NY.  We are proud to be a part of “The Scare-A-Cuse” convention!
